Include species (if known), clear photos where safe, location, urgency, and any containment or risk details.

Is email better than social media?

Yes. Email and the ticket route create a routed record so requests can be assessed and tracked.

When should I call?

If there is immediate danger, injury or public safety risk, contact the appropriate emergency service first. Then call APES with reference details where possible.
